Burning Symbols

The day that a Constitutional Amendment banning flag burning clears both houses of Congress is the day that I book a trip to Washington, DC, so that I can burn copies of the Constitution on the steps of the Capitol.

I agree... The day flag burning is banned will be the day we will cease to be citizens of the United States. For once the greatest pillar, built out of our freedoms of speech and expression, is broken, all the others may as well be broken too. Where is the so called democracy we were to pursue?! If it takes but the decision of a few to violate our rights as citizens, this seems more of a socialist republic. Hail our dictator, George W. Bush!!!! Hail his right to kill people from other countries!!! Hail the "Democratic" government, and to hell with the Constitution and all its years of guidance!!!...

I have never burned a flag. The day that flag burning becomes illegal, I will burn a flag in protest.
