The server hardware is a Compaq Presario 5020 running RedHat Linux, with a lot of upgraded software from the basic release. Frankly, I would not recommend running anything other than Win* on a Compaq, since they are not documented well, have poor support and use a lot of non-standard hardware but only supply Windows drivers. I have actually had a Compaq support person tell me (and he may be correct) that the only way to change settings on their hardware is through Win95/98. Since NT is not fully PnP yet, it can't even be set up there. Also, the only software install option is to overwrite everything on the machine. Compaq includes a "Quick Restore" CD which will restore the machine to the factory configuration, and that's it. Oh well, live and learn. Next time, I'll buy Gateway or Dell if I want to burden myself with a PC. More likely, I'll buy another PowerMac now that Linux is running well on PowerPC hardware.
I am running the Apache web server with some security modifications.
Original graphics were made on a Macintosh (actually, a PowerComputing PowerCenter 132 for the earlier stuff, with the later stuff done on Apple machines) using Photoshop and Illustrator. Most of the pages were done in either Claris Homepage or asWedit, with some done in vi(1).
