Chavez Who?

Here's the thing about rants like Chavez' UN spew: it's just the squeaking of the impotent, inconsequential and unimportant looking for a little attention. He wants to feel big. It's kind of like my four year old when he's really tired and wants to get his way: he cannot get it by persuasion or moral force, so he lies on the floor kicking and screaming. But of course, Chavez is all grown up, on the outside. Which just takes us back to impotent, inconsequential and unimportant.

UPDATE: And I gotta love the idea of Noam Chomsky "loving" America like an abusive husband "loves" his wife. He had to beat her up: it's for her own good.

It's funny that you mention him acting like your four year old. While listening to his ranting and playground insults, I felt like I was listening to a ten year old. Then I saw him holding a Noam Chomsky book and realized it was more like an 18 year old at Berkeley.

P.S. Did you get the e-mail I sent you regarding Griffin?

I did. You apparently did not get my response, though. Are you still using the yahoo email?

Agree ... but in the case of Chavez (and his oil), it's like the 4-year-old holding your family's economy (your paycheck in actual dollars) over a lit flame.

Not a perfect analogy, but he's not inconsequential. Incompetent, no. Capable of doing harm? Perhaps.

Wait, this just in!

Responding to Chavez's attacks on Bush:

"You don't come into my country; you don't come into my congressional district and you don't condemn my president," Rep. Charles Rangel, D-New York, scolded Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-California, was blunt in her criticism of the Venezuelan leader. "He is an everyday thug," she said.

Hey ... maybe Bush *IS* a uniter!

Actually, wouldn't Chavez be the uniter?
