Vince Young to go Pro

And Sooner fans everywhere will get better sleep:

Young says so long, Longhorns, hello NFL

He played an amazing game against USC. Some are predicting he will be among the first of many next-generation quarterbacks in the NFL. Maybe so, but they said the same thing about Vick and other strong, mobile QBs, and so far the pro game is still dominated by the drop-back passer.

Two points:

1) If he's going to be an NFL quarterback, he *must* learn some communication skills. Part of the game these days is dealing with the media. His press conferences to date have consisted of "Uh", "Um", and Tyson-esque misqueues. He obviously wasn't a communication major. Ballroom dancing, anyone?

2) Aren't you a baseball guy?

Jeff's the baseball guy. I'm the college football nut.
