I Don't Even Know What to Say About This

Just go look. (hat tip: Liberals Against Terrorism) Who came up with the communist propaganda...and then decided it would be a good thing to use it? It looks like North Korea - no, it looks like several people need to be fired.

It's funny, because alot of blogs and commenters are blithering anti-Bush paranoia all over the place. From what I can gather though, the poster was commissioned by CSX, the private company that owns and operates the railway that the MARC train has contracted to use.

But I guess I can't expect facts to get in the way of good ole Bush paranoia. I do find it amusing that so many Communist apologists seem so incensed by this poster. My guess is the poster was created to have just this effect by some leftist idealogue. Why CSX would approve the design is the head-scratcher to me; the true intent seems pretty obvious.

By the way, for the 20 years prior to becoming Secretary of the Treasury, JOHN SNOW was the head of CSX.

CSX also owns the Greenbriar- a very expensive resort popular with rich Republicans (and cover for the no-longer-secret underground bunker that was designed to house the federal government in case of nuclear attack -during the Cold War).

They're also working AGAINST attempts by DC to regulate transport of potentially dangerous materials through the city- claiming- so far successfully- that the Federal government has the authority to override the wishes of the District.

DC is concerned about train-based terrorist attacks releasing toxic chemicals- or worse- into their city. They're probably not too impressed with the pretty poster design- considering that CSX refuses to address their very real safety concerns.

CSX-- not just another railroad company.

- not paranoid- just paying attention
