The Economy?
I have a hard time believing the economy is in bad shape, when my middle-class neighborhood is crawling with "mobile pet spa" vans.

I'm sure not having a hard time believing it. My middle-class neighborhood looks like a patchwork quilt of For Sale and Water Turned Off stickers. Enjoy your town's prosperity. I get nervous now every time I don't see a neighbor for a few days!

We're not qualified to judge these things, of course, not being economists or politicians. Hell, I was even told recently that I'm not qualified to mention whether or not something is Constitutional because I'm not a "lettered Constitutional scholar." I can only guess that it's because the Constitution has all of those big words in it that they only teach in law school.

The restaurants and bars here are *packed* every night. And traffic is as gnarled as ever. So people aren't driving as much? Going out less? Not seeing it here.....
