The Breakfast Cereal of Sociopaths

Mighty Bites Cereal

This is my kids' favorite cereal. Look at it.

That's right, it's shaped like people.

What was Kashi thinking, do you think? What is the thought process involved in deciding that you're going to make your new kids' cereal in the shape of human beings?

Does no one on their research team have boys? Do you realize what boys do with this cereal? Breakfast isn't just breakfast any more. No, it's a massacre every morning, complete with little screams as the little people get devoured.

"What do you want for breakfast this morning?"

"I want to eat the little people! Can you hear them? AIEEEEEEEEEE! Don't eat me!"

Betcha the Kashi people had some beautiful ideas about health and world peace when they made this cereal. The Kashi people have never met my children. Obviously.

I don't think their research team had any children at all!

Oh, too funny! I bought the same cereal for my boys. I didn't notice it looked like people though! LOL I showed this post to my boys this morning and said "Look, that cereal I bought for you looks like people". Older ds said, "I know." We didn't get any sound effects though! LOL

It is a terrible, ominous sign that I want to go out and buy these?

Oh man, I'm sooooooo glad I've been missing this cereal. Bad Kashi! But, since it's not happening to me, I'm totally cracking up here imagining breakfast at your house!

LMAO Yeah, it would be a morning massacre around here, too. :)

Yesterday, Aidan asked for red food coloring on his cereal. 'Nuff said.

This is the stuff of school psychologists' dreams. Note that I do buy the cereal. Every week. Hey, they're excited about breakfast!

Oh my!!! I will *never* look at Mighty Bites as mere cereal again!
Oh, the humanity!
