Well, that was different.
So yesterday, Jeff was told that he had to travel. That night. To France. My husband is in France.
Life is not fair, is it?
France.

I could tell you, but then I'd have to shoot you.

Still, it's Strausborg -- not Paris, not Aix, not Marseilles -- Strausborg.
I mean, it beats Detroit, but it's only barely France.

I thought that was a plus, actually.

I think any European destination by yourself (even if it is for work) merits really *nice* gifts for the spouse left at home....chocolate would spring to my mind, but whatever works...

Definitely a plus. The TV is turned to a German news channel at the moment. Something about Castro.

My husband is in Dallas again. They moved us from Dallas to Chicago because they want less travel and more local jobs. He's had three jobs in Chicago and eight jobs in Dallas this year. Me thinks someone didn't think this through completely.
But, at least they haven't sent him to France without me. ;)

Definitely no fair! It's like when Dave got sent to Ireland! We need to get them to get agreements with future employers that they have to pay for spouses to accompany them on any international trips!
