Pete's Pond Webcam is back!

http://www7.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/wildcamafrica/

It's on a loop at this moment, but as of sunrise Monday should go live. Now we can all spend our copious free time staring at a pond in Africa.

You know, I have a whole pond in my back yard. It is true, though, that it's less likely to have zebra wander by. As far as I can tell, anyway.

We are so glad this will be back! We had one computer run the cam for hours on end most nights last year.

It's Monday in California, 7:44 P.M. Pond time, and there is nothing live at the pond or on the NGM site. It still has Grizzlies.

Can anybody clarify what's up?

I don't know, Remy, We watched late morning and early afternoon and saw elephants. Oddly enough, we also identified that the guinea fowl flocking around the pond are the mystery birds we've seen at the farm next door. Hoopy.

It's addicting in a way that my husband just doesn't understand.

thanks for the heads up. We will definitely check it out. Probably inbetween hand washings because I wasn't bright enough to put on a certain pair of gloves before dying some (hopefully) beautiful scarves :) I may not be bright, but my hands sure are. Thank you again for all the fun we had today dying the scarves, cloth diapers and my hands. :)
