Rambles
I took the older boys to the dentist yesterday. My kids' teeth are awful. We don't have dental insurance, and this is all going to cost an insane amount of money.
Moving on.
The high today is supposed to be 80. Yes, 80. The forecast calls for mid-80s to high 70s for the rest of the week. Wow. The winter here might kill us, but I sure do like this summer. This is berry-picking weather, which is good because the 9 pounds of blueberries we picked a week ago are all gone. We didn't make them into pies or turn them into jam or freeze them - we just ate them. Need more. I don't look forward to trying to support this berry habit once the season is over.
In other news, I seem to have found a real, live babysitter, which means that we are about to go out, to a rock concert. I can't even remember the last time we went to a show. My bones creak when I think about it. All I know is that shows were definitely cheaper then. This better be good.

Morning this is Shirley from Denim Jumper. I only have one question....WHERE do you live that it is only going to be 80 degrees?! Because I'm packing my bags! It's 107 up here in the Dallas area today.

Dentists are expensive. We have dental insurance, but of course, they don't cover many things that are needed. And our pediatric dentist accepts our plan but isn't a preferred provider. But he is so awesome I just grit my teeth and pay the extra.
We are now mega teeth brushing maniacs. Flossing, brushing, and the oldest one does the crest mouthwash thing every so often.
It had better help.

I was going to mention the 107 temp here as well. Knowing your luck, the A/C would have gone out on you.
So who did you go see? Oh and by the way, I'm sure you know this already, but Def Lep has a new CD of covers out.

It's our anniversary today, and our first date (depending on how you look at it) was to a Journey concert (Dec. 4, 1986). So tonight we're going to see Journey and Def Leppard. I just hope Lep's set list doesn't suck too much. Will report later.
