But is it real?

I've been here. She's read more math than I have, but I keep coming back to the same kinds of head-spinning questions about math: Well, are numbers real, or aren't they?

Click the link to answer on Myrtle's blog. I know that Mark and Jeff will just make my head hurt. Go make her head hurt instead.

I took physics in high school. It was a somewhat difficult course until the day I had my revelation: it was all made up. It was all a best guess. No one really knew anything. After that, the pressure was off and physics class was fun. (It was probably far more fun for me than for the poor first-year teacher who put up with me after I decided that I could just make up my own answers.)

I'm going to go through Jacob's Algebra/Geometry and read Euclid with Connor, but I'm in no hurry. None. At all. It's going to hurt.

Have Jeff teach it to him. Their minds seem to work similarly; he'd probably understand Jeff, although Jeff's not a great teacher (no offense, Jeff).

None taken. I am not a good teacher at elementals, because I'm not patient enough. I'm fine with advanced stuff, though, and I'm a good mentor. I'm content with that.

First of all, about math...I have no clue. It's an enigma, wrapped in a riddle, shrouded in mystery. (Did you imagine Joe Pesci when I said that, lol?)

LOL about the Toyota dealership story, down below...we did the same thing. Only we said, "We've just been in a major car accident (dh had a splint on one arm, a cast on the other, and I had a bandage on one arm), we're here from out of state because my father is dying, and we don't want to screw around. If we can't get out of here in two hours...just tell us now."

And they did it! It's amazing, isn't it?

After our last 'Lowest Rung Van', this Sienna is like a RACE CAR! We are so STOKED! About a MINIVAN! LOL!

That's what I meant Jeff, and I'm glad you realized the way I intended that statement. I didn't want that to come off the wrong way.
