The Secret ...
Thanks for the kudos. All right, I'll spill my secret. It's familyfun.com. Cool cake ideas with almost foolproof instructions. And of course, if you mess it up anyway, there's always frosting.
My older kids prefer the crappy Kroger cakes. Silly boys.

No, no, NO. I went to familyfun and found the pirate ship cake and yours is soooooo much better it isn't even in the same classification of cool cakes.
Wanna know how totally lame I am?? I called Publix (local grocery store) and found out that they will SELL ME unfrosted cakes (like the little round dudes) and frosting so that I could try to assemble this thing myself! I have Playmobil!
Oh Steph. I could just hug you and dance around in circles. It's my 6 yr old's 7th birthday in two weeks and he will go ape crazy over something like this. You rule the entire universe.

He will *love* it, Jo. Call me if you need help putting it together, but it really, really is easy. Just follow their instructions, and if it doesn't look right, add frosting.
