Did Today

The Du Toits are launching a new homeschool tracking program called Did Today. You can go here to see a demo.

I can't see using it with kids as young as mine. I always know exactly what they're doing, because they do it with me. Did Today could be very useful for high school, though, as it will gather your activities into a cohesive transcript. It's certainly the most flexible tracking/planning system I've ever looked at, and I love the fact that family members can log in to see the kids' work.

LOL...when you said that it was called, 'Did Today', I immediately thought of what *my* entries would look like..."Ate cookies. Read a book. Watched 'Fairly Oddparents'. Broke up argument over the *TWO* female Playmobil figures, that have to be shared by three girls. Did hands-on, real-life math to show that the sharing of two figures by three girls is impossible without...turns. 'Turns' counts as brand-new vocabulary; children have forgotten what it means."

We really *are* going to get into a stiffer schedule, later in the summer, but...wow. Slacker City for now.
