Stupid Judge Update

The Wild Hunt has a roundup of opinions on the judge vs. Wicca case in IN, including a statement from the father in question.

My prayers will go toward helping that judge find alternative means of employment. Fast.

Oh, I have some words. I'll try to tame them down here...HOW FREEKING INSANE is this daft head-bloated pineapple of a judge? HOW is what he did legal? If indeed neither parent asked for this, how can this need to be taken farther up the legal chain? OMG!!! This just SCREAMS of utter stupidity and ignorance all balled up into one person wearing a black robe. I'm utterly disgusted.

Why would these parents even want to send their kids to a Catholic school? Would this case ever have come to court if he had gone to a different school?

"Why would these parents even want to send their kids to a Catholic school?"

Perhaps they recognize how terrible the public school system is (some Wiccans do, right Steph?), are not in a position to home-school, but still want their children to receive a good education. Many children who attend Catholic schools do not come from a Catholic background.
