Back to ... normal?

We are here. The trip went well. The weekend was a whirwind of cleaning and unpacking, neither of which are finished. And Jeff is on his way to California.

I'm historically terrible at "normal" when he's gone, which is why I've just dragged myself out of bed, and the big boys are still in bed. I'd like to start back to school today, though.

It's done nothing but rain since we got here.

Well, time to make it work.

Rah! Rah! Sisboombah! Ricky Racky- Hey, where's my coffee? Ok, *sip* Where was I? Routine, yes. Pencil! Who took all the pencils out of the desk drawer? May I have them back? Why are they only three inches long now? *sigh* OK, well, that's what... alright, did anybody see where I set my coffee cup? Oh, Jacob, honey... yay, yes, yay, you put all the blocks in Mommy's cup. What a clever boy. *whimper* Well, it was cold anyway...

So really, it can't be *that* bad, right?

Welcome home! Go play in the rain if you need a break. Look for slugs or something fun.

I am equally terrible at normal when my husband is gone. I'd be a complete basket case if he were ever out of town for more than a couple of days.
Hope you can *make it work*
