Well, that's it then. Latin and history are finished, and my little Hobbits have overthrown the Dark Lady and are leading an exodus out of the Shire. They will lead me to the black gates of the video store, where I will pay money for the rape of my childhood memories.

Yes, it's Star Wars day! Although I am not at all pleased with Lucas' continued tinkering with the films, we never questioned buying them. We must think of the children, after all. They'll simply have to learn to love Star Wars while their parents throw popcorn at the screen and perform loud audience participation. I'm sure we can get the baby to say "Han shot first!"
