Okay, not the ones leaving urls I don't want, and not the ones randomly leaving foul language in the comments. The rest of you, though, are pretty swell.
I'm going through the motions of getting ready to leave. I'm going to pack the kiddos off to a friend's house for a few hours so that I can actually get something done here. My productivity level is terrible this week. My non-productive computer use level is way up. I wonder ... nah, surely not.
Posted by Steph at January 14, 2004 11:53 AMI didn't realize you were getting yucky stuff in your comments section - that's too bad!
But, enjoy your trip. :-) My dh is going to be gone a lot, too, for the next little while, but we're hoping to get to see the Return of the King before he goes (so I haven't read your review because I've been trying to avoid too many spoilers).
When you're gone, you'll still be blogging, right? Because the alternative is too horrible to contemplate.
Yuck about the nasty comments
Posted by: Sarah on January 14, 2004 01:35 PMEek! I used a naughty word a few posts back. I am so, so SOOOO sorry if I made you mad. Forgive me? Was it me? If it was, will you forgive me?
I'm so glad you're going and hope it is absolutely a WONDERFUL adventure for ALL of you. Will be sure to check for *ahem* updates... right? Still gonna update us, right? Those of us who aren't on the road having adventures... :-)
Have a safe trip, and no, computer time is not related to productivity in any way, shape or form. Nope. Huh-uh.

Posted by: Dy on January 14, 2004 06:54 PMGoodness, NO, Dy! LOL I mean that some idiot is posting comments to my older posts on the order of "F- you" and that's all they say. Actually, they just use the letter "u" instead of spelling the word "you". I figure they can't spell it. They seem to have the other part down pretty well, though.
Dy, I can't imagine you posting anything that would make me angry. Silly.
Oh yes, I will have a computer and internet access in Chicago. I have no intention of roughing it ;-)
Darby, I'm trying to remember to put my ROTK posts in the hidden window that you have to click on to see them because yes, they're full of spoilers. But here's a tip: if you can, stay through all the credits (even though I understand that they're nearly 10 minutes long). The music and the drawings are worth staying for.
Posted by: Stephanie on January 14, 2004 07:32 PMSorry to hear you are dealing with disgusting trolls on your comments board. People really do need to find better things to do with their "spare" time. Wish I had the kind of spare time these ding a lings seem to have on hand.. Trolls and hackers.. 2 subhuman groups that I simply do not understand.
Have fun in Chicago!!! Safe trip!
I ran across this review of TTT Extended Edition, and thought of you. when you return to the blogosphere and have time, check out:
