J.R.R. Tolkien is eleventy-two today. The Tolkien society organizes a worldwide toast to him on his birthday. If I work the times out correctly, the toast is at 3 pm central time. I think that sounds like an excuse to start drinking at 3 pm.
In fact, I think we should have a worldwide toast on my birthday too. How about, everyone toasts me, and I won't share my poetry.
