That's me right now, just a blogging fool.
Jeff is, at this moment, hunting for his hotel in New Jersey. Not Virginia. And we are not moving to Virginia. Period. We're not moving to New Jersey either, thank goodness.
My babies took naps after 6 pm. That's why I"m still up. They're still up. Ideally, I'd get up to watch the sunrise tomorrow. That's not going to happen.
Thankfully it's a short, short week.
So we had our Solstice celebration a night early. I made challah bread, and this morning we had latkes. Sounds good for Solstice, yes? Mmmmm, latkes.
Seems I finally have sleepy children. So off we go ...

Dy, yes, Jeff will be home for Christmas and New Year's. He's just in New Jersey on the other days. The other contract sent him home while they straightened some things out, and a week of downtime turned into a month. Not good. So he took this other contract in New Jersey. It's very short-term, but it's work.
Sarah, no, he's not jobless. He does contract work, and it's been a very bumpy ride. Believe me, it's all as confusing as it seems. And now, it seems I may have been premature when I announced that we were positively NOT moving to Virginia. Argh! That, at least, I should have cleared up tonight or tomorrow.
It should all be worked out SOON, and then we should know where we're living, and we'll get a paycheck, and life will be happy. Please give us good thoughts for that.
