Okay, if you go to the Harry Potter Warner Bros. site you can get a QuickTime version, which I much prefer. Wish I had figured that out before I went through the rigamarole of downloading RealPlayer. Which didn't work. It never does.
It looks nice, but that doesn't tell you anything. Try to listen to the words of the song the kids are singing. But ... am I just forgetting the school choir bits in the book? It's a nice touch for the trailer, though. The dementor looks nicely creepy :)
Posted by Steph at November 14, 2003 08:22 PMThat's why they call it a "Teaser Trailer".
Posted by: Mark L on November 14, 2003 09:50 PMWe watched it a few days ago as a family - turned all the lights on the main floor off...
We sure got a kick out of seeing Snape in a dress! We've been giggling about that for months.
Posted by: Sarah on November 15, 2003 07:51 AMOk this stinks..why can't I see the entire trailer? You are mentioning parts (Like Snape in a dress and the dementors) that I didn't see. uggh.. I used windows media player to view it. Would that make any difference? I did hear the music they were singing and nope I don't remember a Hogwarts choir. lol
Posted by: Nancie on November 15, 2003 05:35 PMoh YEAH! The yahoo trailer worked for me..wahoo! And we only have to wait until June? I thought we were stuck waiting until next november..the traditional release date. I'm still grumbling that I don't get to see it this month! lol

I do like how the new actor for dumbledore looks and sounds pretty similar. it actually has me fooled (almost; I am a master of "hearing voices" though that isn't necessarily a good thing. heh. ANyway, the whole thing is unbelievably cool. I also liked the way Sirius Black looked...
